Street Stranger Stories
Living on a college campus such as Texas Tech University, one is bound to see someone they don't know. It is almost impossible to know each and every one of them. I wish to make my own version of their life: their personality, their quirks, likes, dislikes, even name, all in one or two paragraphs. How accurate will I be? Most likely no where near close. But what's the fun in things being absolute?

Stephen
Stephen is walking on the football field of the AT&T Jones Stadium after a 20-10 victory over the TCU Horned Frogs. All he thinks about is that his school's football team beat a school that is ranked higher than them. Being familiar with how college football works, he knows that only means Tech will move up in the rankings, at least above TCU. Students around him look up to see the camera, suspended on cables, flying overhead and start to scream and wave in an effort to seize their fifteen minutes of fame as a face in a crowd on television. He looks up and joins them in the excitement of a black metal box staring down at them. It is fun for a moment but becomes dull for Stephen, because he is thinking about what he is going to do after everyone leaves the stadium. He's a little hungry so he considers going to a restaurant somewhere close by. But he knows that anywhere close is either closed or will be packed with students. He also knows that any place on campus will be closed because of the game. He decides that if his friends don't have any plans to go anywhere, he is going to go back to his room and eat whatever is in, what used to be, his food stash to get through another typical Saturday night in Lubbock.
